London Horizon

London is less than three weeks away and there is still so much to do!!!

There’s packing repacking, writing packing lists, rewriting packing lists, getting all the little things for the trip. Trying to pack light for souvenir space.
Trying to catch up on children's literature and getting more ideas for the trip...

Britain's best-loved children's book?

So let’s talk a little about my day. Started out great, had breakfast with my family (very rare I am so not a morning person), did some homework, cuddled with my dog Carrot. My sister Meri and I carpooled to the restaurant we both waitress at. I was starting later and brought my notebook with me to keep up with my assignments.
(No, really I did).
Then after a long day we decided to get some food and come home. Cue rush at work and a two hour delay. When we finally got to the driveway--no notebook.
Rush to drive back before closing (completely negating the carpool of the morning) and return home with said notebook.
Get 99% of the way home-back in the driveway
“Get back in your car ma’am you’re being pulled over.”

Police lights are on, Dad is outside, officer takes all my info and seems to understand that I am at my house (and not some random driveway) and issues me a warning.
Cold leftovers and more homework await. Not a perfect day, but London is on the horizon!!!

Photo Editing Exercise

Photo editing using Fotoflexer:

 Cropped:

Using blur edges and film grain effects
Using smart cutout under label Geek
and vignette/matte border under decorate
Note: I liked how this turned out with the bubbly sort of background,
although I can see where most people wouldn't really like it.

Also: A quick question: I spent quite a while trying/attempting to remove the reflection in his eyes, but because it wasn't a 'red eye' the tool would not work. Any ideas on such a modification, because I can see glare images being a problem in the future.
